Biography
Dr. Srikanthan is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and is a specialist in Endocrinology.  She is currently an investigator on two NIH-sponsored research projects, Multi-ethnic Study of Atheroscierosis (MESA), and Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study (DPPOS).  Additionally, she has pilot awards for obesity education programs in Hispanic adults (Center for Vulnerable Populations Research) and Hispanic Elders (Resource Center for Minority Aging Research) based in the UCLA Research Center at Alhambra, California.
